What we collect

When you use the contact form we collect your name, email address, company (if you give it), the topic you choose and your message. If you book a call, the booking service collects the details it asks for.

When you request a Findable free check we collect your business name, website, region, category, email address and, if you give it, a question visitors might ask. When you use the Findable contact form we collect your name, email address, what kind of organisation you are and your message.

Why we collect it

Only to reply to your enquiry and, if you choose to work with us, to manage that work. Free check requests are used only to run your check and send you the results. We don’t sell your information or add you to a mailing list without asking.

Where it’s stored

Form submissions are processed and stored by our website’s form provider and delivered to our email. Booking details are held by our scheduling provider. These services may store data outside New Zealand.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiries and free check requests only as long as we need them to follow up. Ask us at any time and we’ll delete yours.

Findable

The Findable application is a separate service with its own sign-in. This notice covers this website, including the Findable free check and contact forms.

Cookies and tracking

This website doesn’t use advertising or analytics cookies. If you switch between the Outside and Inside views, your browser remembers your choice locally. That setting never leaves your device.

Your rights

Under the New Zealand Privacy Act 2020 you can ask to see the personal information we hold about you and ask us to correct it. Email anigemmill@theoutsidein.nz and we’ll respond as soon as we can.
